Lancôme’s Bronze Absolu - a true pleasure to use

The Bronze Absolu palette by Lancôme is beautiful! The color story, the pigmentation, the glow of certain shadows against the matte shadow is gorgeous. The blendability of the shadows basically requires no effort - the shadows flow beautifully. The colors are long lasting and haven’t creased on me (I do use an eyeshadow primer underneath because I have oilier eyelids). The palette is better than I expected and I’m thrilled.

Disappointed

This arrived, without the usual plastic insert covering the eyeshadow. I needed it, and so i kept ut targer rhan rerurn it. However, the real.issue i have is that the eyeshadow id hard, difficult to use. I have to srape it in order to use it. Very disappointed.

We are sincerely sorry to hear that your palette arrived without the protective insert and that the texture of the shadows has not met the creamy, high-pigment standard we strive to provide. While our shadows are designed to be velvety and easy to blend, environmental factors or a break in the protective seal can sometimes affect the surface of the powder. A helpful tip to refresh the pans and improve color payoff is to gently wipe the very top layer with a clean tissue or a soft spoolie to reveal the fresh pigment underneath, which should allow for a much smoother application with your brushes. We truly value your honest review and regret any disappointment this has caused.
