My all time favorite vacuum
This is the best vacuum I’ve ever owned, my main goal is to have a vacuum that can pick up dog hair (we have two Rottweilers) and this does the job and it does it well. I love the fact that I don’t need to dump it manually every single time, I vacuum multiple times a day and I just need to dock it and it takes care of that for me.

The vacuum that's worth the money!
I recieved this Shark Power Detect. I am very pleased with it performance. The build quality seems good, although some plsatic parts feel like that may break (Probally wont break, but feels flimsy). The suction power is incredible for this vacuum cleaner. I do have a dog, and he sheds quite a bit. The hair pickup is really good and does not get clogged whatsoever. Now I do have a large house but, the vacuum is constanly ramping up and down. With that the battery seems to drain very quickly and was unable to finish my entire house without it dying. (I wish there was a medium mode too). Dirt removal is also a very strong point of this vacuum cleaner. It picks up everything on the first pass!

Incredibly convenient and on par with corded vac
As someone who has always used a corded vacuum, this vacuum has made my life so much easier. The suction is on par with my corded vacuum, even on carpet. It's no longer a hassle to do a quick mid week clean or vacuum upholstery/stairs/cars. Very happy that I treated myself to this. Reason I dropped one star is I wish you could manually empty the dust bin from the vac as well as using the clean and empty system. Seems like only way to empty dust is to use the charging station.

Great features, can't handle pet hair.
This review is for the pet owners. I loved this vacuum until my German shepard started shedding. The auto empty feature is really nice and it performed well on hard and carpet surfaces. However it absolutely cannot handle the dog hair. It gets stuck in the roller, it clumps in the chamber and is incredibly frustrating. I'm already debating replacing it with a Dyson. If you don't have pets or maybe even short haired pets would be ok, it is great. Otherwise, it can't handle it.

Not excited by the cleaner
The principle was great, the idea to vacuum and put it in a cradle that cleaned out the machine. But from the new at the beginning i had issues with the suction at times that just got worse. I can only now clean moving forward because it will leave a fine straight line of dust if i go backwards. But the support was great and being only a year old, they are replacing it no problem.

Not tough enough
This was my replacement due to issues with the first vacuum I had. It doesn’t do well on rugs, my low pile rugs just get vacuumed up as well as any item I’m trying not vacuum up(kids stuff) but it won’t vacuum popcorn. It just doesn’t seem like it’s built tough enough for three kids and two dogs. It is lightweight and easy to use and charge. Does pick up well if you have no rugs and completely clean floors without kids toys. The button needs to be pressed twice on both vacuums to turn it on. The head gets stuck if you turn too sharply and needs to be pressed open with your foot. Both vacuums had the same issues.

Great concept. Horrible Battery
I purchased this vacuum about a week ago. Pros: - picks up dust and hair pretty well - easy to hold and lightweight - cleans out by itself - cordless -the blue light in auto detect mode is pretty cool as it shows dust and such on tiles. Con - battery runs out quickly especially in the high mode (about 5 mins if that) -auto detect sometimes kicks in the extra power on the carpet but not always. -takes 6+ hours to charge all the way back to 100% If you have more carpet than tile/wood, then expect to plan out cleaning over several days. I have mix of tiles and carpet. My bedrooms are all carpet. By the time I finished one bedroom (in high mode), I had to charge the battery again. The eco mode is a joke.
