Very sturdy

We were interested because you can fill it with water to make it heavy and at the end of the season empty them for storage. They are holding up a very heavy umbrella and is working perfectly. They are a little large but they are fine. Recommend. P.S. we bought 2 sets and had to return 1 and had no problems.

Not good with wind gusts

Does not hold umbrella on a moderately gusty day. Base didn't move, but base pins come out, allowing the umbrella to disengage from the base.
