Ghost 17 will not disappoint!

Brooks have always been an outstanding shoe and the Ghost 17 does not disappoint. Extremely comfortable, great arch support, soft on the heel when walking or running and these breathe nicely so the feet don’t sweat. Well done Brooks, well done!

Excellent running shoes

Great pair of shoes that I use mainly for walking, running and jogging. Due to the weather, I have been using these inside on my treadmill but will soon be trying them outside for running. They are very comfortable and look great.

Great shoe!

I've put roughly 15km on these so far. I'm extremely happy with the fit, support, and function. Every aspect of this shoe is right. My favorite detail that doesn't affect the actual running is the reinforced heel so slipping them on is a piece of cake.

Ghost 17

Have returned as too large. Ordered and received smaller size. It’s taking a while to get used to them. I usually wear Revel. I think I prefer the Revel, but wanted more choice in colors, hence the Ghost. I am not a runner. I use the shoes for walking.

Ruined a great shoe

I have had Ghosts 13's, 14's, 15's and 16's. And usually numerous pairs for each model year. The Ghost always fit wonderful, were comfortable and always gave me 450-500 miles per each pair. These 17's are a complete disaster. I tried running in them for two weeks now. In that time I've gotten blisters on my ankles, a sore spot on the ball of my left foot and now my arch is so sore I have to take at least a week off to let it calm down. I never had any of these issues with all the previous versions. I really don't understand why change a good thing. Unfortunately this will be the last pair of Ghost I buy unless they go back to the older styles. Seems like Brooks is trying mimic Hoka a little too much.

An Unusual Fit

I've worn some version of the Ghost since about 2011 so I've been a fan. The 17s have plenty of cushion in the footbed so that's a good thing. My issue is the overall fit. It feels like every part of the shoe fits much tighter, almost like its half a size off. They're wearable, but much less comfortable than every other pair of Ghosts I've owned.
