Truly effective cleansers should not compromise the skin's barrier. This award-winning facial cleanser is formulated to deliver maximum efficacy while respecting your skin's barrier. Unlike traditional cleansers, this gentle yet effective one-step facial cleanser is not a soap or a gel but blends cleansing actives into a moisturizer. Formulated with a dual cleansing system to effectively cleanse while hydrating glycerin and lipids from meadowfoam seed oil provide balance. Skin feels clean, soft, conditioned and fresh. A pleasure to use, the gentle formula massages from a creamy lather to a delicate foam, removing stubborn makeup and lifting away skin-damaging pollutants, for lasting hydration, even after rinsing off.

This stuff is great!

This cream really works! I have noticed a huge improvement in the firmness and clarity of the skin on my neck and face, especially my neck. I'm 51 and this cream is making my neck look 45. I also bought the matching day cream to maximize the results. Love both. Nice barely there scent, texture and didn't leave me oily. For reference I have combination to oily skin.

Clean and simple

I have been using Philosophy One-Step Facial Cleanser for nearly 20 years and honestly, I haven’t found anything that makes me wanna switch. It’s the one cleanser I always come back to it removes make up sunscreen and every day grime without leaving my skin feeling stripped or tight best of all it rinses away completely so my skin feels truly clean never fill me or like there’s any residue left behind instead my face feels soft fresh and balanced after every wash. I also love that it’s gentle enough to use every day and never irritates my skin. If you’re looking for a dependable effective cleanser that simply works I can’t recommend philosophy purity enough.

Great simple and hydrating cleanser

Great overall cleanser. Didn't dry out my skin at all which is an issue for me with some cleanser. My skin is more combo dry and this works great to cleanse and leave my skin feeling hydrated. I didn't notice any residue when fully rinsed either, my skin felt clean.
