I want it back!

This was one of my 1st lens(new) when i bought my R6ii(new) November 2025 i foolishly returned this lens when I bought my 24-105 F4 although I love my 24-105mm F4 i still miss having the 28-70 2.8 to pair with my 16-28 2.8 in low light indoor situations so I'm patiently waiting for a refurbished version (I don't deserve another new one)😂

Lightweight, compact with bright aperture and excellent IS. Just what I wanted, 28 mm is plenty wide enough.

The little lens that could

The lens is compact and relatively lightweight for a fast standard zoom. Autofocus is spot on, image quality is incredible. It fulfills most of my photography needs.

Can't beat the quality for the price

If you're used to using the EF 24-70 f2.8 adapted to a mirrorless Canon camera, you'll love having this lens. It's lightweight, smaller, but still takes fantastic pictures. Would the more expensive versions be better for heavy work? Maybe, I can't afford them, so I don't know. But this one definitely perfect for just about everyone else. And you can definitely do some work with it.

RF28-70mm F2.8 IS STM lens, is awesome on my Canon R7.

I have been using a Canon EF-S 17-55 lens with an adapter on my Canon R7 camera, until I was ready to purchase the RF28-70mm F2.8 IS STM. When I got the delivery for the new lens, I couldn't wait to try it out and WOW what a difference. The new lens was much faster and clearer than my EF-S 17-55 lens. I love how fast and sharp the images. This lens is going to be all around travel lens for a long time, and I love it.
