Does the Job
I have this in a cabin to use until we get the electric run and the oven installed. This burner does an excellent job. After a quick boil, I have had no issue with odor. It heats up fast and it is easy to clean up and put away. I haven't had any issues with the legs getting hot and marking my countertops. Overall, this is a great product that I highly recommend.

A great appliance to have in your home!
This is a very portable hotplate that lets me move my cooking space out of my kitchen. I love having the options it opens up when prepping dinner. Especially with cooking at home for the past year due to covid, this hotplate helped my family and I to recreate some of the restaurant cuisine we were craving like hotpot and KBBQ . It gave us the ability to keep our soup base nice and hot as we dropped veggies and fish balls into the soup to be cooked. When I used it to grill meat, it seemed to heat pretty evenly letting me cook thin slices of meat quickly. That really helped recreate the feeling of freshly grilled KBBQ on the table. It takes a bit longer to heat up some of my cookware but I think that is expected and works very well with some patience. An extra plus in my book is its ease of cleaning. Unlike some traditional hotplates with the exposed coil this one is much easier to clean and take care of.

Great addition to the kitchen!
Great hot plate. I use this sometimes instead of the grill because it is so east. Instructions were simple and cooks better than some of my in-kitchen appliances. Unplug and let cool off to store. Simple as that!

Great Burner!
We camp most weekends during the year. We got this burner to use at our campsite, mostly for outdoor use, not necessarily in our camper. This has been a great addition to our other outdoor cooking units (grill, smoker, griddle, crock pot, Fire). Not only is this great for having an extra burner outside, but it also does a great job at keeping food warm on the serving table. It does seem to have an offensive smell at first but after the intial use, it's gone. Probably just something sprayed on at the factory?

Worked well
This cast iron burner/hot plate worked great for my needs. I used it to keep some appetizers warm at our small family birthday party. I will probably use it for holidays and other get togethers the same way, but it would work great to take to the office to heat up a quick meal you don't want to microwave or even if you live alone and don't want to heat up your stove. This is a handy appliance to have and I can see other uses in our future.

I've been using the portable gas stove for a long time, and every time I throw out the empty gas canisters, I wondered if I was disposing them correctly, so now i don't need to worry about that. It's probably better for the environment.
