Nice kettle

The Aanke is a high quality kettle, but given its high price, I was disappointed that the stainless lid was covered with a plastic material.

Almost Perfect!

This is the best looking kettle out there. It has a capacity of 1.2 liters, which is a bit limited. A 1.5-liter capacity would have been better. Compared to the Georg Jensen and Smeg kettles, it’s significantly lighter. The heating process is quick and quiet. However, the filter spout is too narrow, making it challenging to pass tap water through the filter. On the positive side, the base is sturdy and high-quality, unlike the flimsy and lightweight bases of other kettles. The temperature light remains on, indicating the water temperature. This feature might be confusing, as it could make you believe the kettle is still on. However, once the water reaches the desired temperature or you lift the kettle, it automatically shuts off.

Tea kettle

I love this tea kettle. It’s all stainless steel so there is no rubber. It leaves smudges with finger prints and I am afraid scratches will show. Heats up nicely.

Tea kettle

Love the tea kettle. It’s shiny stainless steel so it easily leaves a print. My previous one was brushed so this was never an issue. Heats up super fast and it’s all stainless steel. No plastic or rubber pieces. Be careful as everything except for the handle gets super hot.

Great kettle!

It is a great kettle and it heats to specific temperatures fairly closely. It is not exact, but heats up very quickly. It does indicate the approximate current temperature by lighting up the closest temperature indicator. It is quite sturdy and therefore a bit heavy, but not excessively so. It is nice that no plastic contacts the water whatsoever.
