Used product

My coworker purchased this bag for me as a birthday present Taupe color and it was delivered on 03/6/2026 and I was so excited to see the bag because I love Ralph Lauren products but very disappointed. when I opened up the box the bag was scratched up and have an X and the number 4 was scratched on to the bag the bag was clearly used and returned to the store. Nobody is paying for used items.
