Not waterproof

Fits well but after only about 5 times in the rain it feels like the waterproof coating has failed and my underlayer ends up damp after just a few minutes outside.

Not realistic to “pack” in its tiny pocket.

Just bought this coat because it’s advertised as packable — very important to me while on vacation and slip it in my shoulder bag. The packability is a joke. You have to wrestle the coat into a tiny side pocket, and the whole thing comes out a wrinkly mess, even if you’ve had it in there only for an afternoon. I have another raincoat with a back vent, under which is a 15” long zipper pocket into which I can fold the coat — a pity it’s a water-shedding garment and not waterproof.

Not waterproof, only a light jacket.

Had only worn this in light sprinkles until a heavier off and on rain that I had to be out in for a little over an hour. Was sopping wet, water went right through. Very disappointing. Useful only as a light jacket, will need to find a real light waterproof packable raincoat.

Runs Large!

I have around 10 Lands End jackets in my closet. All are size Petite Medium. This jacket runs very large! Long in the sleeves, long in length and large around the body. I had to re-order in a Petite Small, which thankfully fit well. I like the jacket otherwise. It is waterproof as described. I have a different rain jacket that is only water resistant.

Very happy with purchase

I purchased this raincoat in the lilac petal last week, and it arrived today. I am very pleased with the color and fit. It’s roomy enough to fit a heavy sweater or fleece for cooler weather, and it’s light enough to pack easily into a carryon. It versatile enough that you can wear it with jeans or slacks. It’s perfect for traveling.

Color bleeds

I bought this rain coat in the spring and wore it just now yeti walk in the rain. The color bled all over my hands staining them red, the Disney hat I was wearing stained, my pants below the coat red.
