Amazing
So glad we went with this. Went with this system and the 180 car seat base. This has been an absolute game changer. Fantastic for one baby. Easy to move from car in car seat to stroller for shopping and errands. Love the net on the bassinet/regular stroller feature. Very smooth. The magnets on the car seat shade are super weak which is my only complaint. I also soooo wish maxi cosi would come out with a double or convertible double stroller!

Unfortunate
Received the tayla travel system as a gift for my baby shower and I wanted to love it. However, I haven’t even been using the car seat for 3 months and the canopy connection came apart and will not go back in place. Also, the stroller folded on its own with my baby in the stroller. This has happened 3 times already

Awesome Stroller, Terrible Car seat
I bought this 6 months ago. We have no concerns with the stroller it works great and is an awesome purchase. The car seat on the other hand started falling apart after 3 months. The so called "Easy off Washable fabric liner" is just that easy to take off and impossible to put back on. The liner will not stay on the car seat. We also had issues with the Styrofoam insert breaking loose from the main plastic body. Check the reviews on the car seat many other people are having the same issues

Flawless Integration
We have had our boy for 2 weeks now and the ease of use for this system is incredible. I will admit to not always reading the directions but when it came time to put the car seat base into the car before he got here I found them very easy to follow. The way everything integrates together makes every bit of this system so easy to use, especially when mama is tired with all the work she has and continues to put in!

Good travel system, but not for my family
I was given this travel system to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Unboxing this travel system was a breeze. Instructions were all around clear - color coded, numbered, and even written out on the car seat base so you don't have to search for the manual next time you need to remove/reinstall. The assembly was very fast and easy as well. Here's what I loved most: - The car seat was light and breathable. - The stroller seat had many positives, including the bending bar for easy accessibility, the carriage mode so infants can lie fully flat, the mesh 360 canopy was such a great touch, and it was easy to pop in and out of the stroller. - The canopies were easily accessible and stowed with zippers. - The stroller stands on its own when folded! There were some cons: - The car seat belt release is hard to reach. - The peekaboo window on the stroller seat is only useful if the shade is pulled fully tight. - The stroller wheel locks were difficult to engage (unlocking was easy, though). - The storage basket is small (this is fine if you using the stroller to/from, but not ideal if you need to carry more than a bag). - You have to remove the car seat adapters to install the stroller seat, which I mostly did not like because that means you have to find a place to store the stroller seat when not in use, and risk of losing the car seat adapters. (note to manufacturer, include a secure storage spot for these in the storage basket.) - The biggest con by far is the weight capacity of the car seat - it only goes up to 30lbs. As a mom of bigger babies, this means I'd have to switch to a different rear facing seat at 30 lbs. I like to get as much use out of big ticket safety items, so this was a reason I would not purchase this car seat. Overall, if you don't mind a lower car seat weight limit and you travel light, this would be a good travel system option. It maneuvers very well and it feels pretty luxurious with the wrapped handles.

Sleek and Functional with a few misses
Stroller Overall: A functional travel system with nice aesthetics, some practical features that does most things right for the budget minded parent. Pros: Convenience - When you buy The Tayla Max 5-in-1 Travel system you're getting everything you need for the first year of your baby's life in one sleek package. Lie flat carriage- Not having to purchase an expensive bassinet add on is a huge benefit of this system. I can't believe more strollers don't come with the lie flat functionality. It's basically a standard toddler/rumble seat that lies completely flat for younger babies. My son seemed super comfortable while laying completely flat in the carriage. Fabrics - I found the fabrics to be soft and aesthetically pleasing. They stop short of luxurious, which you may find at a higher price points, but these were definitely a notch above standard. The 360 degree canopy was very nice and thick, it makes you feel assured walking baby in the sunshine. The peak-a-boo window on the stroller seat allows you to see baby while in motion which is always comforting. It also allows for extra airflow if needed. Ergonomics - the car seat and carriage have a sleek design. I enjoyed the faux leather trim on the handle of the car seat and stroller as well. The entire system has a nice, almost sporty look and feel to it while pushing well on smooth surfaces. Portability and ease of use - I like the low footprint of this system. Since the car seat will always be in the car and you won't need a bassinet, the pieces are very minimal. The stroller folds up nicely, almost flat and doesn't take up nearly as much room as many other travel systems do. Included are adapters for both the stroller seat and the car seat, so you won't need to make any additional purchases. Essentially the stroller seat adapters will remain attached and you add the car seat adapters when you want to use that. Awesome Stroller 10/10
I love this stroller system, it’s actually quite compact compared to its competitors (we scope out the different brands at school in the stroller closet). The open and close is a challenge at first but now it’s second nature and super easy. I love how adjustable the chair is from bassinet to regular upright. Overall I’d recommend! AND the car seat works with my stokke stroller adapters so huge plus!
