Buyer beware No Toner Cartridges are included

This printer was a more affordable refurbished model. It comes without toner cartridges. However, once you purchase the toner cartridges, it becomes more expensive if you have bought the same model brand-new printer.

Not Clearly Labeled as Refurbished

The product listing was very misleading. I purchased this printer assuming it was brand new, but the “refurbished” label was hidden deep in the product details in very small text. It was not mentioned in the title or main description at all. This caused a lot of inconvenience and unnecessary time spent contacting customer service. Macy’s should clearly disclose refurbished items upfront, just like other retailers. This experience was extremely disappointing.

Deceptively cheap

It may seem cheaper than buying one new but it doesn't come with any toner... So essentially it's the same price as a new one. Their listing doesn't say anything about it. You only find out after buying one. I was able to get the latest model for 50 dollars cheaper with black Friday sales at a local chain store that has toner for color and black and white. Granted they are starter toners it's still better than opening the box only to find a note saying refurbished doesn't come with toner... If you add the cost of getting toner it's more expensive than buying a new printer.
