Lid to pot was damaged

I ordered this on April 3 as a wedding gift for friends; I received it on April 14, took it home to gift wrap, but I'm glad I opened it first. The knob on the glass lid was chipped and broken! :( I took a picture of it on my phone, but it will not allow me to make the picture smaller so I can send it here. :(

Lid handle broken when I opened the box

This was a gift. But I decided to open it and check. Past Reviews said broken handle Good I did I would have been embarrassed for them to see broken handle. Will macys replace handle? Item no longer available
