Pull-Back feature doesn't work
Looking at it from above it looks terrible, from a side view its decent, but the claw to the front looks terrible regardless. The pull-back feature malfunctions, barely moves forwards a very little bit if at all, but if you lift it up, then the wheels spin, but for some reason they don't when its on the ground.

Broken pull back engine
Such a fun build, my 5yr old is Lego obsessed and we had a great time doing this one together, however he was disappointed when it was finished as the pull back motor doesn’t work in it. Maybe came with a broken spring or something. He still plays with it and loves the monster jam truck.

Great engaging and educational gift
My 6 yr old grandson loved this Lego technic . The only addition he needed was a tool to remove one of the “pins”. His Dad helped with pliers. He worked on it alone and almost finished in about an 1 1/2 hours. I would recommend this Lego for kids who like vehicles and building activities and willing to follow instructions.

5/5 – Fun, Fast, and Easy to Build! I bought the DIGatron Pull-Back Monster Truck (42199) for my 8-year-old son, and he absolutely loved it. The build was just the right level of challenge for him—not too simple, but not frustrating either. The instructions were clear, and it took us about 45 minutes to complete together.

Great for a rainy day
This is high quality and a nice time consuming task. Our son definitely needed adult assistance to put together but the finished product is high quality. The pull back feature doesn’t work on carpet only on our hardwood floors. Also beware if you have little ones in the house some of The pieces are TINY

Crush my hopes and dreams!
Macy doesn't know how to ship or sell Lego! You literally sent me 3 Lego sets in a bag that each Lego set had been crushed & turned into a ball of cardboard. Then after we more inspection and hours trying to save each box there are shipping stickers stuck to each Lego box that are impossible to remove without even more damage! And what's worse is this is like the third time even after letting Macy's know about these issues twice before they just keep doing it. Somebody really stupid runs your shipping department and needs to learn how to put Legos in boxes without putting stickers on them.
