Causeing redness

I bought this three weeks ago to work with my coconut cleansing balm that i love & have been using for a year. So I wanted to try the double cleansing routine, but ever since I started using it my face has been more red and breaking out. So I gave it a little time to see if maybe it was just cleaning out my pores. But my skin feels drier now than ever. Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue with this cleaners?
