They changed it!

I have been using the pore-vanishing primer for years and Smashbox recently changed the formulation and it doesn't work as well anymore. It doesn't fill my pores as well and it also turns into flakes when I try to put my foundation over it.

Beautiful starts

I love the stay put ,pore vanishing and oil absorbing primer from morning till night. My face felt hydrated but looked non shiny and photo ready.

Overall does what it says

This product is a lotion like consistency rather than the normal thick paste, which I love since it is super lightweight. The only reason for the lack of a star is that it didn't hold the makeup all day and I had to do a touchup. I received this product for free from Smashbox for testing and review purposes.

Love this primer

I used the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer in the morning before applying my makeup, and it made a noticeable difference in how smooth my foundation looked throughout the day. guess i use primer now

I really like this primer. I'm not usually a primer girlie at all – maybe occasionally for eye makeup, but just didn't feel pulled toward it previously. I've had this primer a few weeks now, and I keep finding myself reaching for it. It feels really light on my skin. When I put it on after my skincare routine in the morning, just by itself it evens out and brightens my skintone – kinda a blurring effect on my fine lines and dark spots. Usually in the morning I use a tinted SPF, and by the time I get home from work, it's all rubbed off. With this Smashbox primer, my makeup stays put throughout the day and well after I get home. It's got a very slightly tacky feeling going on, which I appreciate as it's easier to tell where I've applied it, but it absorbs quickly and feels fine – just smooth and silky and not intrusive at all and with no scent. I'd buy more to replace it when I run out. I received this product for free from Smashbox for testing and review purposes.
