Vent issues
The structure is off. The vent in the back doesn’t fall properly and leaves a weird crease.

It's slim fit. The coat looks great. If you have wide shoulders, maybe go with a different coat.

Solid fit
The wool is nice and warm and the shape of the coat is great. It’s very versatile and I plan on keeping it for life. I do hope I didn’t rip a hole in the sleeve when I ripped off the sleeve tag however. But love the navy color and a classic coat to have for the winter and looks like it will stand the test of time.

Wearing as an Overcoat? Size UP!
I bought this coat last year around the holidays. The coat is pretty and well constructed, but it is one of Ralph’s “tailored fits.” It is too snug to fit anything under other than a shirt and a sweater. If you’re intending to make this a proper overcoat to wear over your suit jackets and blazer, definitely go up a size. If you’re between sizes like I am, go up a full size. If you intend to wear it without tailoring underneath, then order your usual size. Also don’t love the 50/50 wool/polyester blend. It’s apparent visually and to the touch, and you can get a nicer one from J. Crew for the same price that is a luxurious 100% melton wool make. I only recommend this product if you can get a good deal on it. Otherwise, go for the camel hair polo coat (which is actually pictured here and not even a related product.)
