Artichaut kettle - great design, works great

Very well designed. Seems heavy out of the box, but not a problem at all when using it. Feels solid and it is very easy to use. Love the spout opening and handle; and it's so easy to leverage the handle and knob to pull the lid loose with 2 fingers. The only down side is that when the lid dropped onto the counter, it chipped a small piece of enamel out of the edge. This was just a week into using it. But otherwise it works very well and fits the small burner on my stove much better than any other kettle I've used in the past.

A Classic

The finish on this kettle is gorgeous, and so is the shape. The color I chose is Oyster, and that's beautiful too. I bought the largest size, and it holds plenty of water. The whistle is lovely.

Rusting

I absolutely Love this tea pot, unfortunately after 3 months I noticed rusting at the base of the spout. The light just happened to catch it exactly right when I was filling it last night so I don’t know how long the rust spot was there. I did take a picture, but unfortunately, I can’t figure out how to upload it on here. I contacted Macy’s unfortunately it’s three weeks past the return window. I do trust they’re going to do the right thing. I’m saddened by this and I don’t know if I should get another one of these tea pots, perhaps the one I received was just a bit faulty but I didn’t normally leave water sit in it and if I did, it wasn’t much and it wasn’t for a long period of time. It’s hard to say whether I would recommend this product or not simply because I love it. It’s good quality and I just can’t speak on whether the one I received was just a bit faulty or if it’s a ongoing problem with this..

Unpleased

I have so many Le Creuset products that my kitchen is nearly fully Le Creuset. So, I am totally surprised by how poorly this tea kettle functions. Honestly, it spills water every use and the steam puffs out weirdly as a result and burns my hands. Very Unhappy and Do NOT recommend.
