Patricia Nash Athani handbag

I like the size of this bag, not huge but has a lot of room since the base is quite wide, about 5 inches. The leather looks lux and it is soft, not stiff like some other leather bags. The color is great for summer, just the right shade of brown for me.

Fits my water bottle and notebooks

I wanted a bag I could fit my water bottle and thin notebooks in my everyday bag easily. And the Athani does! The Zora is decently roomy, but w my bag organizer, my 16 oz water bottle, and thin notebooks, it was tight. One review said it was the size of a large tote, but I'd say it's the size of a medium cotton tote (see pics comparing the Athani to the Zora, an old Aldi tote, and my large cotton tote). Looking straight on, it isn't too much larger than the Zora. But the volume increase is notable (see pics comparing the same contents in the Athani vs. Zora). Maybe ~2.5L diff. The straps are a bit strange. The longer one should be wider and the shorter one should be thinner. I use straps I've bought separately instead. While I like the look of the Zora more, I like that the Athani has no floppy handles. As someone who mostly wears crossbody, no floppy handles is less annoying on my hips. In gen, I like the quality and interior org of PN leather bags.

missing strap

Had to return this beautiful purse because it was missing the strap for the shoulder bag. This was supposed to be a surprise Mother's day gift for my mother in law and it was such a disappointment that she couldn't enjoy this. I have ordered another one and hopefully it will have everything on it.
