Soft serve so yummy
We have only tried soft serve. EXCELLENT! But we’re gaining too much weight because it’s so simple to use! LOL

HORRIBLE RECIPES
I am just not a fan. I first tried the recipes in the included book and the vanilla and chocolate leave a nasty fatty film on the roof of your mouth, and the pint that I had to respin actually had chunks of butter in it from the cream turning to butter. I know the sorbet recipes will be good, but finding a basic vanilla recipe that doesn’t leave a greasy film on your spoon shouldn’t be hard. I’m glad I didn’t throw my traditional ice cream maker away.

Only OK
I bought the first one and it had an issue. After about 5 differnt instructions from Ninja they sent me a new one I havent opened yet. What I can tell you is that the machine is heavuy, has multiple steps to go tjru befor you acually get your ice cream or frozen trea and even then the machin only makes one pinta at a time. There is no reason they couldn't increase the volumes with a few changes.

Great update on this model
I am so thrilled that I bought this latest version. We haven’t used the soft serve as much as we thought we would, but the new cream fit function for ice cream is perfect when I do my protein powder, soy milk, fruit ninja creamy. I don’t have to run it for a five times anymore. Sometimes I just run it once or sometimes I need to re-spin. There’s a lot more to like about the design as well and Cleaning is easy.
