inconvenient split but flattering

I love the slim design of the skirt, which is flattering to my figure. The fabric is also a great wash and weight. It is not cheaply made. But, the split is pretty high even though I do not have long legs. Quite a bit of my leg shows so I probably will not wear to work. Although, in the fall I might try it with tights and boots. If you want to show off a pretty leg this is your skirt. [I will need to use a tanning cream and firm up my leg a bit...] I am 5'2" and it is inches from my ankle. I sized up. I usually wear an 8 jeans/skirt but got a 10 and it fits like an 8. The split shows about 4 inches of my leg above my knee and more when sitting. Basically, it flatters my short build but it shows a bit too much of my "could be firmer" legs. It will look lovely on someone with great legs...I am jealous. I took a star because I think the designer went too far on the split narrowing the contenders who could really benefit from the style.

Not quite right

Nice skirt but the denim is heavy for summer and not really stretchy so not too comfy. The split is nice while standing but when sitting down goes too high and wide open for me. I will be returning.

Perfect fit

I'm an older woman who remembers wearing these fabulous jean skirts almost 50 years ago. Since aging into a different body type than I had in the 70's I wasn't sure if I could comfortably fit into this retro look. I bought 2 different skirts; one was as I expected, tighter in places and the slit was too high. This skirt surprised me with a perfect fit, just the right length and front opening was exactly what I was looking for. Buy it. I love it!

Sizing is OFF

I love this skirt, but this is the 3rd time I have had to get a different size! You need to size up! I normally wear an 8, had to re-order AGAIN in a size 12!! I really like the style!!
