Comfortable, but lightweight
As others have mentioned, the fabric is quite lightweight. However, I can easily wear a t-shirt under it. I only plan to wear it around the house or to run errands or to my exercise class. I’m not going to hike or camp in it. It fits well and looks nice. I trust that it will was well, too.
Just Right
I tried four Petite Large sweaters/tops. It was like Goldilocks. One was too tight, one was too boxy/roomy, one had crazily long arms, and this one was just right! I’m just under 5 feet and 160 pounds with a 38D cup. This top hits in a good place and comes in nice colors. I’ll get another.

Don't like it
It's too flimsy. I wanted a sweater to wear on almost-cold fall and spring days. It is also appears sloppy. I'm returning it.

With caveats
To say this waffle-knit half-zip is lightweight is being generous. It is THIN. The fabric also wrinkles very easily. I ordered the light blue and the deep cranberry in PXS and PS. You can nearly see through the light blue half-zip so I'm returning it for heather gray. I like the deep cranberry. I like the cut. It is generous but not oversized. The zipper works well and the collar stands up or lays flat as needed. I didn't feel there was a big difference on me in the PXS and the PS, except the PS was a little longer. Given the tendency of waffle knit to shrink, I'm keeping the larger size. I wish Macy's would not so often cheap out in selecting the fabrics for their house brands. This half-zip style could have been a reliable go-to casual piece for many springs and falls to come had the fabric been better quality. Buy on sale.
