I must say that I love this handy sewing machine,it's easy to set up and it makes sewing super fast and easy...I definitely highly recommend this to all my friends n family. I'm more than happy to do people's sewing for them just b3cause it makes it fun.

You get what you pay for?
I bought this machine as a first machine for my 9-year old granddaughter. I like the simplicity and the marked guides for threading and bobbin. She can easily control her sewing. But the thread constantly jams in the bobbin case and the needle unthreads despite holding the thread in place when starting to sew. This happens for the adults too, so it's not a child issue. We have followed the manual for threading the machine and we've oiled the race. Nothing seems to help. I'm not convinced this was a good purchase.

Horrible machine, blight to the Singer name
Save your money and go with a different brand. Singer used to actually be synonymous with quality. This machine is a bite on the singer name and makes me lose faith in anything new they’ve produced in the last 25 years. This is the craziest, worst machine I’ve ever used. It jams all the time. The bobbin threading system is terrible. I have never been so frustrated using such a simple machine in my entire life. If Singer had any foresight, they’d stopped making this and recall every single one immediately and give everyone a full refund because this machine is an embarrassment.

Love it!
This is an awesome, lightweight and portable sewing machine that is perfect for a beginner like me. It’s been decades since I have used a sewing machine, and this one is easy to use, comes with power cord and clear instructions. Very well made and I didn’t know how much I needed a sewing machine for hemming and other miscellaneous projects and fixes, and now I am ready to get creative and start sewing more challenging things like pillows and costumes for my little ones. So fun! Very happy with this Singer!

Perfect For Mending, Crafts, And Small Projects
The Singer MX60 sewing machine has an extremely heavy frame that prevents it from shifting or skipping stitches while you work. But even though it has a heavy frame, it's very lightweight and perfect for projects away from home. I like that this mechanical machine is portable and has a handle at the top to make it easy to carry. I also like that the machine is smaller and great if you don't have a lot of space in your sewing room. The MX60 is perfect for mending jobs, crafts, and small projects. If you want to get really creative and do bigger projects, then this machine is not for you. I've been sewing my quilt blocks and hemming clothes that needed a little TLC. I didn't have any issues and was pleased with the end results of my sewing projects. This sewing machine has 57 stitch applications and six essential stitches for fundamental sewing techniques. And allows you to create buttonholes. All of these features are on the dial on the front of the machine. The machine only came with instructions on how to thread the machine, plus there's a diagram on the machine showing you how to thread the machine and the bobbin. The machine has a front loading bobbin. I like that you can sew stitches in reverse with the help of a reverse lever. The lever has to be held down, and it's a hard push. You have to stop, turn the fabric around, and again hold the lever down while turning the wheel. I wish Singer would have made it easier to do the reverse stitch by just pressing the lever, and it locks in place until you're done. This singer also came with adjustable thread tension and thread cutter. One thing this machine is missing is the automatic needle threader. I wish Singer wouldn't have left this out on the MX60. The sewing machine came with an accessory kit that had needles, bobbins, a foot pedal, etc. The foot pedal is really fast, and I wish it didn't take off like a race horse. One thing I really liked was the light. It's very bright and great to use in the daytime or even in the evening hours to see your projects a lot better. I like that this machine is simple to use even though there's a few things I wish Singer would change on it. But even though there's a few things I didn't like, I think this machine is perfect for my quilting and craft needs. We are going to have a craft show at the church for Christmas. This sewing machine will allow me to be creative and make pot holders, bowl holders, fabric purses, and so much more. I'm having so much fun using this sewing machine. It doesn't come with instructions, but you can look up the manual online and download it or print it out.

Low quality.
My last machine lasted me 30 years. I don't think this one will last more than 1. Generally speaking, most machines are made cheap now, this is one that is.
