Constricted fabric

I purchased these for my grandson they are very cute but fabric is not stretchy. My grandson is 8 months and the sock size is 6-12 months. I had to pull and pull to get these on, he had no room for foot to move. I suggest sizing out unfortunately the next size is sold out.
