    • Apply to the perimeter of lips for definition or fill in all over to amplify shine
    • Pair with your favorite MAC Lipstick and Lip Gloss (sold separately) to create limitless lip looks
    • Before Lipstick:
    • To naturally define lips, start by outlining the Cupid's bow, then switch to the outer corners of upper lips and draw inward until you connect the lines at the center
    • To enhance your lips and create a fuller-looking effect, trace along your upper lip line while gradually overlining beyond the natural border of your lips
    • To create a contoured lip look, choose a shade deeper than your lipstick to outline lips, then fill in center of lips with a lighter lipstick, slightly overlapping with liner; blend with a 316S Brush (sold separately) to create a natural-looking gradient
    • After Lipstick:
    • To add extra definition, line lips after applying your lipstick
    • With Lip Gloss:
    • Outline or fill in lips completely, then layer on your lip gloss for a high-shine look

Broke 3x when using it!

Will not be buying these again. I bought the Nightmoth as I also have the pencil version and wanted to see how well it worked. It didn't! Color is beautiful but the liner itself broke 3x in the 2 times I used it. Just opened yesterday afternoon, on the phone with MAC next day.

Perfect everything

The Glossliner shown is not over--bright, but just the perfect color selected Candy Yum Yum, plus the gloss to this is perfect, staying. Used with NY Butter Gloss in Meringue.

Not this one

I'm not loving the glossy liner. It doesn't stay in place and the color payoff is next to zero. I also had to reapply it too many times . Not for me

Marketed as a stain

I only purchased this product because of the sign saying it was a stain, which I have not noticed it’s just like any other lip liner of its type
