Size feels incorrect, Small toe box.
Just received the shoe and they are not as normal Romeos are for fit/comfort. Have tried to wear them for a day and unsatisfied. I always wear an 11.5 Wide in a normal Romeo shoe. 11.5 wide in these are longer in size and slip my heel constantly causing friction. The toe box is extremely tight to where I'm worried if I got a size down my feet wouldn't fit. Not the same comfort as a normal Romeo shoe.

Back to back returns!!
Have had to return back to back Romeo's for poor quality control. The first pair had a curved in steel toe on the right boot. And the second pair had major tears and dents in the leather right out the box. Their quality control is non existent. Do yourself a favor/headache and buy elsewhere.

Best boots I have ever owned
The US Navy had boots like these in the early 70's. "Molder's Boot". I wore nothing but, at sea. Very coveted footwear in the Submarine Force. I found these boots after retirement, through trial and error. I finally wore the soles off of my first pair of these Georgia boots. They NEVER stretched out of a snug fit. I NEVER had water get into them, and they were the best boots I have ever owned. A word of warning: If you say, "size 9", you GET size 9. They will stretch and form fit after you break them in. Order the wrong size and they are not going to fit well. I just wish they offered the steel toes in black.

They’ve been good to me
I have worn these boots nearly everyday for the last 8 years. I work in heavy industry so I originally got them to meet a steel toe requirement. I picked them out because I love slip on shoes and I remember as a teen overhearing some cranky old geezer say they were “the best f***ing boots in the world”. As an adult now, I can attest that he was right. They have been the most durable and comfortable footwear I have ever owned. On top of wearing them for work, I have reroofed my house, poured concrete, felled trees, and dug trenches all in this one pair. I even survived eastern Washington snow storms in them. After all that, so many years later, I am still confident that they are comfortable enough to go on a 5 mile walk with my pups. From the photos you can see that I have pushed these sad piles of leather past their prime, but that’s why I am writing this review. I am finally looking to get a second pair and it made me think back on how amazing these boots have actually been for me. Cheers Georgia Boot. You’ve made something great.

Soles don’t last
Super comfortable, broke in really fast. My only complaint is the soles are almost smooth after just over a month. Definitely not going to last very long.

I got these for my boyfriend who is a general contractor, and he LOVES them. Classy enough for meeting with clients and also super comfortable and functional for working on job sites.

size difference
the toe box is much narrower compared to the Rome slip on shoe. both being the same size 9w. why is that?
