Great y2k type of low rise

Sits super low so I sized up. Normally I'm a 29 but I bought a 30 and it looks so good even though the waist band is a bit gappy. If you have wider hips it's important that you size up so the jeans sit where they're supposed to.

Unexpected look

I am 5’10 and wear a 32/12 in women’s. Got a size 33x32 and it is very wide and short. Good material but waist does not fit well on my hips or waist, there is a gap. Does not match expectations.

Warning- do not put in dryer!

I'm 5'9, usually a 26 or 27 in jeans. I decided to go with size 27 because I can always use a belt if I need to. I also ordered the shorter length option because I only planned to wear it with shoes or sandals. When I first tried them on I immediately loved it, the length was perfect, the jeans were comfortable and of course 27 was a tad big for me. WARNING DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID- I never knew jeans could shrink, I put them in the dryer thinking it would be okay, when I took them out I was devastated. The jeans fit more like a 26 now but the jeans are definitely high above my ankles now. I should have chose the longer length of jeans. I'm sad because these were already my favorite pair of jeans I ever owned. I had no idea they would shrink.
