Covered hairline stubborn grays
The consistency of this product is great, while I did receive the product free from review I enjoyed using it. The stubborn grays at my hairline were completely covered. My hair was soft and silky, this product is very gentle and did not irritate my scalp.

Works in a Pinch, But Temporary Results
I've tried quite a few root touch-up products, DpHue Touch Up Kit definitely gets the job done — but with a few caveats. The application is pretty straightforward, and the color payoff and match was great. However, it takes longer than expected to develop, I'm used to 10-15 minute application time where this one is 45 minutes, the longest of all I've tried. The good news is that it didn't irritate my scalp and left my hair feeling soft afterward. Great color match to my naturally dark brown hair and looked good for a week or two. That said, the results didn't last very long. After about 2–3 weeks, I noticed the roots were starting to show again, even with gentle washing. This wasn't just from regrowth, you could tell where I had died last because there was a slight red color and then faded completely after the 4 week mark. So while this is a great quick fix for special events or in-between salon visits, don't expect long-term coverage. Overall, a solid short-term solution, just be prepared for a little extra wait time and more frequent reapplication.

Great product
I tend to color my hair at home and this one worked really well. True to color, didn't seem to harsh when application. Color is true to what is advertised. Item for the value couple be better but overall I am satisfied.

Quick and easy
I used this product very easily. Only issue I encountered was the color was still too dark to match my colored hair. Great idea. Application was easy. Loved that all tools were included.

Easy and fantastic!

great product!
Honestly, my hair roots are so dark it wouldnt have shown up anyway. But I gave to a friend with platinum blond hair and she usually bleaches herf roots as well. Well i talked her into using this to do a shadow root instead and she absolutely loved it! The color isnt warm but not too ashy at all. Perfect for shadow root and my friend wants to stick with the shadow roots from now on!
