Macy’s you asked for my opinion so here it is! This is the ugliest dress I’ve ever seen in my life, and I lived through the 1970’s. The cut is impossibly frumpy. It looks more like a nightgown or a child’s dress with a pinafore. The Strawberry Shortcake doll came to mind when I first looked in the mirror. I have an hour glass figure, 5’6 and 129lbs. Most of my weight is in my bust. Don’t even think about this dress if you are over an A cup. If you have a tapered waist, it will be hidden under an extremely generous tent of fabric. If you are looking for a maternity dress for a warm weather event this could work. If you have a waif figure with a small bust this could work. That being said, the fabric is extremely thin. The lining of the dress is thin as well so undergarments will need to be a heavy consideration. Finally the heart print was disappointing. It looked very dated and too cutesy. Macy’s, you’ve always done right by me. Everything I’ve ever gotten from you has been well made, well cut, and statement making. But this one misses the mark completely.
