Nice but the wide fit was still too narrow

I loved everything about these shoes, they even managed to make a silky heel that allowed some movement without ripping it up or causing blisters. However, the wide width was still too narrow. I tried everything to stretch them but no luck. Unfortunately, the width problem didn't make itself apparent until after wearing for about 30 minutes into a run so I couldn't return them to try a half size up.

Wonderful Arch Support!

I purchased these for trail running. I have plantar fasciitis & the arch support is EXCELLENT! No pain. But they also provide a lot of cushion, too! So these are my go-to trail running sneakers. Great traction.

Great purchase for my Alaskan cruise

I purchased these water repellent tennis shoes, because it was recommended for my trip to Alaska. With the unpredictability of rain, walking and hiking in water repellant shoes is a must! I have been wearing them on my walks in the morning and they are stable and have great cushion and breathability. I am glad I bought them. These were on sale.

cool weather shoes

These are good trail walking shoes for cool weather. They are a little warm on the feet.

Stiff arch and bigger than expected

I bought these on final sale (so no refunds) because I wanted lighter-weight, water-repellent hiking shoes, hoping they would fit like my Devotion X walking sneakers (8.5 W) that i love. Unfortunately, they're longer and wider than my sneakers and their weight is heavier than I wanted. The arch support also is stiffer, feels more prominent, and is located further back than my sneakers. Since I can't return them, I'll make do by wearing thicker socks and hope the arch support won't be an issue impacting my ability to comfortably hike long distances.

Upside TR Trail wasn’t wide enough for me

8.5 wide was not wide. For other shoes that is the size that works well. I returned and ordered a 9W, which is not wide enough either. I’m disappointed because I buy a lot of Ryka. Maybe it is the factory where they are made. The Up Trails I bought last year are fantastic, but I can’t find them.
