The color is great. I have dark blond hair and the color looks pretty and is a nice neutral that I can wear with anything. A tip for using - since the clip is open on one side, hair can fall out. When you pull the amount of hair back, twist it away from the open side, then insert the clip. The twist will keep the hair in the clip. The large clip worked great the few times I wore it. Then one of the tines broke. I will keep using the smaller clips, but I would not recommend this clip since it does break easily.
