When it works, it’s good, but..:
Not only is it very messy from static, it gets so clogged up. We have followed the cleaning instructions and it makes little difference. I have to use the 40 setting plus an additional 10 to get enough grounds for a 16 oz pour over cup of coffee. Very disappointing

Just OK
Have had it for years. Does a good job overall. Is a bit on the loud side side but hey, it's a grinder. It can also be a slight bit messy, especially compared to some higher end grinders. Biggest problem is the ring that adjusts the grind is plastic and needs constant replacement. The tabs constantly break despite adjusting the proper way. Poor decision to use a plastic part here. I am finally upgrading to another companies grinder for a but more cost, but better build.

One thing worth noting - when adjusting to a finer grind setting, we always recommend doing so with the machine running to avoid coffee compacting between the burrs, which can cause wear to the burr holder over time. VERY VERY MESSY
I've had this grinder for over a year and I have to vacuum up and sponge clean all the ground coffee that that is blown out from under the grounds bin EVERY TIME I use it. I've tried all the tips that Baratza have sent me which are useless.

Phenomenal grinder
I upgraded to this grinder from the original Encore. Much quieter and faster. Better for espresso too. Highly recommend.

Great grinder! Virtual tank - sturdy build! Easy to maintain and get parts. Great rind! Would definitely recommend to anyone that needs a sturdy, reliable and repairable coffee grinder. Worth every penny!

Sadly it is made from plastic!
Grinds adequately. Plastic parts are disappointing hopper lid vibrates off and will eventually break.
Never received macys is absolute bottom tier trash
Worst online ordering experience I have ever had. Item was sent via DoorDash delivery. Delivery attempt was never made and product seemingly disappeared. I hope the driver enjoys his new coffee grinder. Chats and calls to the useless scripted chat and phone support yielded zero results. Still waiting for a replacement to be sent weeks later. Time to retire the Macy’s name at this point, although I don’t see how it can be dragged any lower.

Virtuoso + has been wonderful; however after a year and a half it has completely stopped working. The display screen turns on but is completely blank, and nothing happens when we push the button to grind despite thoroughly cleaning it and watching online videos.
