Bonded leather, cheap construction

I immediately was disappointed when I opened my delivery box. The leather is a bonded leather, not real leather or solid hide. It feels and looks very cheap, and unfortunately, due to the bonded leather, it will not be a long lasting bag. I’m really bummed because someone recommended this exact tote bag, and I truly don’t understand why. If you don’t care about quality leather and construction, and you might like the shape and layout of this bag.
