Causes acne!

I love the feel/texture of this stuff, and I really enjoy applying it. The consistency is nice. BUT it made me break out. Some people could use this and I'm sure they would have great results but if you are prone to acne, I would definitely skip trying this.

Luxurious

I have been using this product for about a year now. I absolutely love it. This serum hydrates well and has a luxurious scent. I often struggle with creams and serums due to the scents since they can be a trigger for a migraine. It’s such a feel good product. I also close my eyes and hydrate my eyelids (even though I use the La Mer Eye Concentrate) for extra hydration and the caveat…

Airless pump packaging would make it perfect

Airless pump version of The Concentrate PLEASE, La Mer! PLEASE!! We absolutely hate the wand packaging! You could even keep the seaweed stem on the top by simply attaching it to the lid of the airless pump. AIRLESS PUMP! AIRLESS PUMP! AIRLESS PUMP!!! Other than the packaging: Absolutely nothing reduces my skin’s redness quite like The Concentrate does. It’s incredible. Every time I resume using it after having to stop, I wake up the next morning and gasp when I look in the mirror because my face looks so much better after just one use. I don’t know what anti-inflammatory magic La Mer worked with these ingredients, but even pro-strength 15% azelaic acid isn’t as effective as The Concentrate with regard to reducing my redness. Plus its texture is like liquid silk, it absorbs to leave behind nothing but an unobtrusive, soft, natural-looking finish, and it spreads incredibly well when applying. Did J mention it needs an airless pump? Because La Mer The Concentrate NEEDS. AN. AIRLESS. PUMP. Say it with me, everyone: AIRLESS PUMP!

Stings

I just bought another bottle of concentrate. Something is different. It burned my skin and made my eyes sting. Definitely not worth the money- too rough on skin. Still enjoy their moisturizer.
