Good looking luggage, wish it was more durable.
I fly twice a year so I purchased (3) of the suitcases, on my second trip a ended up loosing a wheel. Warranty didn't cover replacement which was disappointing, also the corners dent in pretty easy.

I would buy this again.
Very sturdy and fairly lightweight considering its durability.

Excellent Bag, but...
This is a great bag. Unfortunately, the wheel broke off. TNF replaced the whole bag since they can't just send the wheel. Not the best solution but I appreciate them taking care of me.

Be aware if the lock breaks this suitcase is trash
I have both the 30" and Carry-On. I have enjoyed both for over 2 years. Unfortunately, on my most recent trip one of the built-in locks was destroyed by airline mishandling–which is well within the realm of probability as the standout ever-so-slightly from the suitcase body. The locks are small, built-in pieces that are integral to the suitcase functioning as they are also the closures. When reaching out to The North Face about this, I was informed that because of how the lock was damaged, it was not covered by warranty. That was fine with me as I love the suitcase and was willing to pay for a replacement. However, I was surprised to discover that these locks are apparently not something The North Face attempts to repair–either themselves, or as a self service. The lock is, from what I can tell, completely removable and replaceable if one wanted to. The entire remaining 99% of the suitcase could easily last years longer, but unfortunately, this suitcase is now either an oversized paperweight or bound for the "recycling center" because of a lack of a process in place to get a replacement part. When reasonably and politely sharing my disappointment with The North Face customer service over the phone in a conversation that lasted less four minutes, I was abruptly asked to have an excellent day and hung up on. I am very open to being offered other solutions or perspectives on how I should proceed with giving my suitcase another chance at life–but I am saddened by The North Face's response to this. I cannot with good conscience recommend this suitcase to anyone.
