Love it--nice and warm

I bought this coat after I returned another down jacket that was just much too light. This jacket though is awesome! Although I will not be able to try it out till next winter, I can tell it feels like it will be very warm and I like the relaxed style on this. The zipper is nice and sturdy. Much better than what was on the lighter jacket. I have purchased quite a few Marmot coats in the past and I normally find them to fun small. But because this coat is a relaxed fit I went with my normal size and love the way it fits! Might be a tad tight if I am wearing really thick layers underneath but I think sizing up would be way too big. I suggest ordering your normal size with this coat. The steel onyx is a cool color!

My Marmot story

There's a saying in my country: "One old friend is better than two new ones." I first encountered Marmot products 10 years ago in Ukraine. They were warm, high-quality, and not very expensive. That was good. I spent several years in the warm climate of Germany. Now I've arrived in the US, in Indiana. I need warmth, quality, and a good price again. I turned to my good old friend, Marmot. My daughter loves it

This coat is nice. My daughter loves puffy coats and was excited to get this one. It's not thick at all, so I was concerned that it wouldn't be very warm. She has been wearing it though throughout the winter and she says it keeps her really warm and that it's comfortable.
