I would give it zero stars if possible. This thing can only get a light dusting done. Anything more than a few inches and it gets stuck ever time you try and push it into deeper snow. You have to either smack the battery into the terminal or hit the shovel into the hard floor to get it to go again. I’ve only had this for one winter and now this second one the plastic housing that holds the battery into place is snapped. This thing is a P0S and I should have gone with a Milwaukee. LESSON LEARNED

overall i am very happy with the shovel and have recommended it to many people. with a couple of design tweeks it would be even better. i would rate this as five star however there are a couple of small issues that i did not like. the trigger release button needs a more exaggerated ridge for release. it's too small for a gloved hand to get to easily. i would also like to have the option of a directional throw. the battery is too small and expires after 20 minutes or so and it charges very slowly. i purchased 2 additional 6 amp batteries that last longer and allow for more continued use.

SNOW SHOVEL BLOWER NOT ADJUSTABLE
We love our Snow Joe snow shovel the real downfall is that we live in a townhouse and our Snow Joe Snow Shovel cannot be adjusted to blow the snow in a different direction so I’m feeling like I wasted my money because it’s blowing the snow onto other neighbors sidewalks. This information was not related when I saw the advertisement I had to find out after purchasing and googled and learned there is one that’s adjustable. I’m EXTREMELY UPSET

Not enough power
I have a Snow Joe 24V-X2-SB18 that I am using to clear the snow from my 400 square foot deck. While worked well initially, it now stalls constantly trying to clear a light covering (3 inches) snow. It does this regardless of the charge level of the batteries.

Doesn’t work after less then 1 hour of use!
I bought this electric shovel 2 years ago. Our last two winters have been very light with snow so I haven’t had much use for it. I have less then an hour on it over them two years and it worked great, I really thought I had made a good purchase. But this year with our 1st snow I got it out, put the battery in it, pulled the trigger and it did nothing. I don’t know if the problem is with the battery or the machine, but I do know it’s not working and yes I did try recharging the battery.

Used this TWICE ! Now it doesn’t work , auger works by hand but does not throw the snow ! Very unsatisfying!

What a waste of money
Don’t waste your money on this piece of crap!! This is so top heavy and needs wheels to operate without hurting your wrist. Who engineered this thing the snow only shuts out straight back into your face ? No lever to turn it to the left or right away from you . Pitiful, what a waste. Need to do better Joe!!!
