1 star due to cologne samples

I really like this sweater. HOWEVER why does Macy’s keep packaging clothes with godawful perfume & cologne samples? This sweater has been hanging in front of open windows for 2 days trying to get the smell out. Not to mention, what if I was allergic? It’s unlikely anyone buys the cologne based on the sample & makes it more likely we won’t buy the clothes either.
