Lid snaps broken

I ordered two sets of these, one for us and one for my son and daughter-in-law. Both packages had broken lids upon opening so they were returned immediately.

lids are thin

the glass part of containers are excellent. the plastic luds on contrary are bad. Out of 3 I have 2 chipped badly even though I used them 2to 3 times

broken dishes

I had ordered 3 packages of the 3 pack. Two out of the 3 were broken. I wanted them replaced. Macy's would only offer a refund. They said they were out of stock. That wasn't true. I looked on app and they were available. They just didn't want to give them to me at such a low price. I'm terribly dissatisfied.
