Love but struggle with the curling barrel

I’ve owned the Dyson Airwrap for about 6 months. I still struggle to use the curling barrels. I’ve watched many tutorials, but my hair never grabs & curls like in the videos. I do love most the other attachments though, and bought a small volumising brush which I use for a beach wave affect.

Poor

Its not working for me. Curling barrels are not wrapping / feeding my hair itself.I think a cheap curler will work better than this.

Goid for volume

I have short hair so find it a bit big and bulky. Would like a smaller brush but it is good for volume. Don’t love having to swap heads and a lot to store. The curl ID thing is too inflexible and you can’t cancel it if you click by accident. Hard to do a cool shot. Nice on my hair.

Light to use

First one was faulty so that was super disappointing! Had to get a replacement so a lot of hassle in the process. Dryer nice and light to use but for the price and hassle would not buy Dyson again.

Not Satisfied with the Product

I bought it in January 2026. I cannot style anything as the curl will not stay for long. I think the local curlers works better and holds the curls better.
