Beautiful blouse but it runs big

I purchased the XL in this shirt which is my normal size because of “the girls”. I wanted to capture the look in the pic wearing it with the Hudson blue pants I purchased. This top runs big in my opinion. It’s beautiful and has a matching tank and pairs well with the Hudson blue pants. The blouse looked overwhelming on my frame and not tailored. I exchanged it for a large and I am hoping that works otherwise I will return it. The XL fits like a tunic, which was not the look I was going for. Just be mindful that it is cut generously.

Classy casual

Colors caught my eye. Comes in either purplish or blue hues with black contrast.. Reminds me of those paintings you see waves or skylights. Ordered one to see how it fit. Was concerned about the quality of fabric and craftsmanship . It liked the collar seams a little misaligned? Then I noticed it had a teeny tiny snap on each side holding a black camisole in place . Not mentioned in description.Nice detail, I just assumed since (synthetic) fabric semitransparent, it would need to be worn with something.Long sleeves seems a little over generous but not overwhelming.. Nice one pocket on left.. Haven’t washed yet. Would recommend it. Would buy again and got in other available color. Restored my opinion in DKNY at least for now..
