Absolutely an Amazing Printer!!

I have been a hobbyist photographer for over 15 years and this is the first photo printer I have purchased. Prior to this I would always order prints occasionally online and would be happy with them but not blown away. I would get anything from 4x6, 5x7 to 8x10s. After setting up this printer I was blown away and how gorgeous my prints looked!! I will never go back to order prints again now that I have been spoiled with a proper photo printer. The only small nitpick is I wish the ink cartridges were a bit larger since I'm really enjoying printing all these pictures. For context the Pro-200s inks are 12.6 ml and it looks like the pro-310 is 14.4 ml. It would be nice if these were 15-20 ml each but not sure if that would change the size of the printer.

I bought this to replace my old Proxma Pro 100. I am very pleased that this 200s is as good if not better than the one it replaced. .

Wonderful

Colors are crisp. It works as it should. There's options on the machine to do paper styles without using the computer. Setup was easy and it works as it should. Package was protected in shipment. All parts are accounted for. All ink is provided with purchase. Thank you

Oops All Errors

I cannot recommend this printer. I've had a canon pixma pro-100 for YEARS and loved it, absolute workhorse of a printer. My pro-100 finally died recently I replaced it with the pixma pro-200s. When I first saw the small digital screen on the pro-200s in my gut I felt that would be an issue, but I had a great experience with the pro-100, so I bought it anyway. My gut was right, you are going to see CONSTANT error popups on that printer screen and I hope you enjoy navigating repetitive menus on it, because you will be. It's an absolute nightmare printing anything. The printer feeder struggles to grab ANY paper of any size. I can barely print anything without being stopped with a "There is no paper in the top feed" error when there is in fact, ALWAYS, paper in the top feed. From what I can tell online, plenty of other buyers share this problem. This design feels like it shouldn't have gone to market and it has seriously impacted my faith in the brand. I wish I could exchange it for another pro-100, but I can't afford to eat the cost and buy another pro-100, so I'm stuck with this thing that barely works.

Canon Pixma 200S the best printer ever. Do not look for anything else.

The quality coming from this printer is incredible. After using the Pixma 100 for a few years, I needed to upgrade. Excellent decision. The 200S is really the best quality printer I ever had.

I Love This Printer

I recently bought this printer, and so far I am loving it. It was easy to setup. It is very sophisticated which takes a while to learn all the bells and whistles, but it is worth it. It allows me to set it up for specific paper in addition to Canon. The pictures it prints are rich and beautiful. The Canon Professional Print & Layout plugin for Lightroom Classic and Photoshop prints pictures that look exactly like how they do on my computer screen.

Impressive Prints

This is a great printer except that it does not have an 11x14 mode, even though frame stores feature frames with 11x14 mats. Go figure. The dye-based inks do a remarkable job on fine art paper in various thicknesses. I'm looking to sell my photography, so Canon's PRO-200S printer features the quality and precision I need to make it happen.
