Not All Cotton

Bought the grey and black sweater. Macy's description states the sweater is cotton and does not list any other fabric. Is the customer to assume the sweater is 100% cotton? I did, which is why I bought it. The grey sweater is not 100% cotton. The tag on the sweater states 60% cotton. Shame on Macy's for the deception.
