Needs Access to Spare Parts

This is our 4th or so Intex pool and numerous sand and saltwater systems. Everything has been great until now. We’ve been able to get our ZX300 to finally operate fairly well. It does get stuck occasionally, but not a big deal. It cleans great. I did have issues with the small drive belt that turns the brushes. They constantly break. I was fortunately able to 3D print replacements. The issue that I’m having now is that the long white hose keeps cracking. I’ve patched it up and it breaks somewhere else. I have been unable to find the exact replacement hose, so I ordered another brand as close as I can. I adapted the ends, and now the hose it too heavy. The zx300 will not sit flat on the bottom of the pool and the weight of the hose keeps it in one corner. How the heck can I find the exact same replacement hose at a reasonable cost?

Vac works great. I just wish Intex would have sold replacement wheels for my old vac. They were leaving black streaks on the bottom of the pool. The only solution was to buy a whole new vac.

Next to Useless

Well, it circulates water, but as a vacuum it is garbage. I had good luck with the old water jet style propelled vacuum until it wore out. Why they went in this direction with the design, I have no idea. The wheels, which now propel the device have absolutely zero traction, so it essentially sits on one spot. Save your money, better off with a hand vacuum.

This cleaner is awesome!

This cleaner had made owning a pool so much easier. It does a great job of picking up the bits of trash from the bottom and sides of our 16ft pool. The little brushes are wearing out rather quickly as others have commented on. The big downer is that you have to buy a more powerful pump to get this to work. The pump that came with the pool is not even close to strong enough so having this is a bit of an expense.

Doesn't work

I bought this at the end of last season and didn't unbox it until I opened the pool in May. I have an Intex pool with an Intex 2100gph pump with an Intex sand filter. The vacuum barely moves and frequently gets stuck. I've tried running my pump on recirculation instead of filter, which helps a little, but then the water bypasses the sand filter, so that's not acceptable. The old Intex vacuum I had worked great for two seasons, but I accidentally dropped it on the cement patio and it busted beyond repair.
