Sizing is off

I ordered a size 7. They were a little roomy, but I needed them desperately for my job (teaching), so I kept them. I should have returned them, but Macy's 30-day return policy didn't allow me too. They kept getting bigger and bigger. They are like flip flops now. They don't stay on my feet because they've gotten bigger the more I've worn them. Land's End wouldn't help me. Macy's said they couldn't help me either. So, decent shoe, but order a half size smaller. Not worth $90, though. I feel so ripped off I've sworn never to purchase from Land's End again.
