Shoe lace has a cut

The shoes itself look good but the shoe lace that came with the shoes has a cut that makes it impossible to tie the shoe laces. I may need to buy a new pair of shoe laces.

It looks like it's going to be a very nice shoe for someone just not me. They are very narrow and if you have a wide foot don't even think about it!
