Masai Round Neck Jumper: Cute but tricky felt dots

Very cute design--love the giant polka dot pattern. Personally, I would have preferred if the dots had been printed instead of appliqued with felt dots, even though the felt is stylish. Care instructions say to hand wash and dry flat, but does anyone really have time to hand-wash sweaters? Since it says to wash before wearing, I put it in a net bag in the machine on cold/gentle; afterward the felt dots had bunched up, so I spent time smoothing them out by hand and will likely need to press on low heat on the reverse to flatten them more. From now on I will probably dry clean, since the instructions allow it. I bought both colors, so I hope that will solve the issue, though I don't like having to plunk out the cash for cleaning, and I just refuse to hand wash. We'll see. . . . Also, the fit is definitely oversized, and after trying different sizes, I found that the size chart is a bit on the generous side; I ended up getting a size down, which is still oversized. I didn't want to go down further, as the sleeves would have been too tight.
