When it works it is awesome...but then....

It is an amazing unit when it works. One day out of the blue I received 'Lid' error. I tried every conceivable fix (googled help) and nothing. I do not recommend this particular unit.

The pressure cooker

When using pressure cooker. The steams are leaking out even the valve is closed. I even replaced a new instant pot ring. It did the same thing.

Capital one shopping rewards email.

I used a Capital One shopping rewards email for $45 off a single purchase of $75 or more, but I haven't seen it added to my shopping rewards as pending. Normally, pending rewards appear within a couple of days. Do you have any idea if I will be receiving this reward? That was the main reason I purchased this item.

Returned

A cute and lovely IP but the first time I used it water gushed everywhere when I released the pressure ! It went so high as to reach my ceiling plus the spices in my soup. I’ve owned an original model for 10 years and NEVER had this happen so I consider myself an experience user. This cause great concern so rather than deal with IP customer service I returned this.

I love my Instant Pot!

I've never had a pressure cooker in my life because I was chicken! LOL ! I summed up the courage to get one because my sister in law has had one for years and recommended it. I finally got it and now I'm wondering why I didn't buy it earlier!
