Lightning McQueen needs to look his best for every challenge, and the Disney and Pixar Cars Color Changers Race Ready Car Wash playset gets him prepped for the next competition. This interactive set encourages dynamic storytelling play featuring familiar graphics from the movies and series with surprising color-change features to instill a sense of wonder. Drive the included Color Change Lightning McQueen toy car through the wash and pour very warm water from the Piston Cup on him to initiate a color shift. Launch through the finish line and off to the next race dunk Lightning McQueen in the icy cold water tank to change back to the original design. Colors and decorations may vary.

  • Product Features

    • WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD-Contains small parts. Not for children under 3 years.
    • Ages: 4 years and up.
    • Drive up the ramp to raise the green flag, then slide the Rusteze button to move Lightning McQueen to the middle of the set to start the wash.
    • Fill the overhead Piston Cup with very warm water and pour it on Lightning McQueen. Watch him change through the translucent window that also prevents splashes and spills.
    • Slide the button to the end of the wash where the platform raises to launch the star racer through the buffers and across the finish line.
    • Dunk Lightning McQueen in the icy cold water bucket to return to his original colors. Water drains into the warm water bucket that's in the set's base for no-mess play and easy clean-up.
    • Includes 1 Disney and Pixar Cars Color Changers Race Ready Car Wash Playset and 1 Color Change Lightning McQueen toy car in 1:55 scale. Set includes 1 Color Change Lightning McQueen toy car that shifts colors when dunked in very warm and icy cold water.

Perfect for my Cars lover

My son is obsessed with Cars. He is always playing with Mater, Lightning and Sally and this has been such a fun addition to his playtime. This does come unassembled, but took about 10 min to set up, including putting on the stickers, which my kids all had fun doing. This playset comes with 1 color changing Lightning McQueen, that changes from blue to red with hot/cold water. This feature completely amazed my 3 yr old, and he will spend quite awhile changing the colors back and forth. I see this being used a lot this summer outside by him. Another feature my son really likes it this playset connects to his Frank escape playset. It can take a few tries, but he has fun launching Lightning from that playset and getting him into the carwash. Overall this has been a really fun toy for my son, and I will be looking for more color changing Cars characters to use along with it.

Ready to Race

Pixar Cars is a big hit at our house so I knew my so would love it. The car wash and race ready comes with one Lightning McQueen color changing car(blue/red), car wash, two containers for water(hot/cold). You do have to assemble it but it’s super easy and quick. Push McQueen into the car wash, dump the piston cup over which has very warm water and watch his car change colors. Push him though to the end and on his way to the next race.

Great gift!

My kids loved this CARS car wash toy! It kept them entertained and engaged as they experimented with the car changing colors with warm vs. cold water. They also enjoyed pouring the water in for the car wash. This would be a great birthday gift, as it is unique and interactive.

Brings lot of fun!

It depends on whether you like having water in the apartment. If it doesn’t bother you, it’s a great toy. It provides hours of fun, both for boys and girls. The instructions are very nice and user-friendly, with colorful markings and arrows. Building it, by the way, was very easy.

Updated car wash

This is a much needed upgrade to the previous car wash. This really held my child's interest. The color changing car brings a lot of interest. The only issues with the stickers when they get wet they rip and come off.
