ABOUT THE BOTTLE: In its high-shine ebony-like dark brown bottle, the new bottle design takes inspiration from the 1946 Balmain Élysées 64-83. It retains the unique striated collar and 90-degree angle label, while adding dimension to the new lozenge shape with a signature rayure Balmain and PB monogram.

Strong but long-lasting

I was advised this is a unisex fragrance but I believe it's more on the masculine side. It has a strong intense scent but it is long lasting. I would say this is more of a night scent vs day. "I received this product for free from Balmain for testing and review purposes."

Strong

The scent is quite strong and lasts a long time. It's a very masculine scent and definitely one I would wear going out for the evening. To me its too bold and overpowering to wear as a daytime scent. "I received this product for free from Balmain for testing and review purposes."

Didn't care for it

I didn't really care for this scent. I was hoping it would be more woody and spicy, but to me it was just incredibly smoky, and not in a pleasant way. I haven't worn it out, it just doesn't work on my skin at all.

Balmain EBENE EDP is a refined and confident fragrance that feels effortlessly luxurious. The opening is rich and warm with a smooth woody character that quickly settles into something deep and elegant. It has a polished presence that works especially well in the evening or cooler weather and it definitely feels high quality. Longevity is solid and it projects just enough to be noticed without overwhelming. While it may not be the most adventurous scent in this style, it is beautifully blended and very wearable. Very rich, layered scent

I received this product for free from Balmain for testing and review purposes. This is a very rich, mature scent. Very strong out of the gate and lingers until you wash it off. It's unisex but I think it leans a little more to the masculine side.

My husband didn't really like the intensity of the scents.
